Hansen Air Group would like to congratulate the first
two Able Flight scholarship winners Brad Jones and Stephany Glassing.
Able Flight is a non-profit organization founded to provide life-changing
experiences through aviation to people with disabilities. In a ceremony
held at Atlanta's Sheperd Center, Charles Stites of Able Flight presented
Brad and Stephany with their awards. Jet Aviation generously provided
funding for the first two flight training scholarships. We'd like to
thank our good friend Kevin Rodgers of Jet Aviation, Inc. for coordinating
this effort and helping turn this dream into reality.
Hansen Air Group is proud to be able to provide the aircraft for student
training. The Sky Arrow 600 Sport SLSA factory-equipped with hand controls
allows these students to experience the joy of piloting an aircraft.
We look forward to the day when Stephany and Brad begin their training
with us.
To see the aircraft Stephany and Brad will be flying please join us
11-14 January at the U.S. Sport Aviation Expo in Sebring, Florida.
Charles Stites will be hosting a forum at the expo on sport pilot training
for pilots with disabilities. It is scheduled in Forum Area 3 from
2:30 - 4:00 PM, Thursday, 11 January.
